Emily Casey, Psy.D.
I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state Connecticut and the owner of Casey Psychological Services LLC . I earned my B.A. in Psychology at the College of St. Benedict and an M.A. and Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology - specializing in clinical treatment, psychological assessment, and family systems/functioning.
I have provided psychotherapy, consultation, clinical supervision, psychological evaluations, family assessments, and risk assessments of violence in outpatient, inpatient, residential, educational, medical, and juvenile justice settings. I was formerly the Director of Psychological Services at Natchaug Hospital where I coordinated several evaluation programs and trained and supervised graduate students in the area of psychological evaluation/assessment.
Now, as owner of of Casey Psychological Services, I focus on providing psychological assessment services to the community through a variety of sources. Much of my time is allotted to school districts within Connecticut where I conduct psychological assessments and risk assessments, program reviews, staff education, and behavioral consultation. I have served as a contracted testing psychologist for a number of Connecticut school districts, the Department of Developmental Disabilities (DDS), and the Department of Children and Families (DCF). In addition, I work with individual families and community-based clinicians/organizations to provide clarity on presenting concerns and recommendations for growth.
